The AMA Plan, insured by Companion Life Insurance Company, an A+ carrier, is a simple, limited benefit plan which was designed to help meet the needs of individuals who, for whatever reason, find themselves without adequate health insurance.

The AMA association group health insurance plan is available to members of National Association of Consumers Direct (NACD), where approved, and through licensed insurance agents only. Available through age 69 to members, their spouses and children to age 24 (except disabled children as defined). Plans, benefits, rates and availability vary by state.

The plan offers basic health coverage, coverage for doctor office visits, x-rays and lab tests, prescriptions and hospitalization.
